Education centre of LDF Education centre of LDF was established in 2001. It organizes education and various trainings for members of LDF. Every year about 20 seminars and trainings for branches and district departments of LDF are organized. Our sponsors are: ACV Belgium trade union and CNV Dutch trade union. CNV International helps us to get long-lasting projects for the members of LDF. In 2004-2005 the project “Planning, evaluation and monitoring method” took place. In 2005-2006 the following projects were held: - for youth organization “How to start small business” - for agriculture workers “Strengthening the agriculture branch, and adaptation to the EU norms”. In 2006 the project “Planning, evaluation and monitoring method” will be held. Education Centre of Lithuanian Labor Federationis a member of European Centre for workers' questions (EZA). We take part in the seminars that are organized by other education centers of EZA. We have implemented the following projects: In 2003 - “Social dialogue in the enlarged EU”, In 2004 - 2005 - “Main trends of social dialogue”, In 2005-2006 - “Involvement of society in civil social dialogue”, In 2005 - ”The role of women in European labor market and family”. The participants of seminars are representatives of trade unions and NGO’s from Objectives of education centre: 1. To strengthen the structure of LDF and to improve the directions of its activities. 2. To educate members of LDF, to improve their negotiation skills and to encourage activities of members. 3.
